EOMONTH function in excel

In this article, we will discuss EOMONTH function in excel.

Purpose

This function returns the last date of the past, present and future month.

Syntax

EOMONTH(“date”,”no of months”)



In the above syntax, we have 2 parameters

1. Date - Here, we can specify the valid date.

2. No of months - Here, we can specify the number of months. If the value is zero,
then EOMONTH function will return the last date of the current month. If one, then
last date of next month and so on.

EOMONTH(TODAY(),Q)

Equals to

30-Nov-lS



EOMONTH(TODAY{),l)

Equals to

31-Dec-18



EOMONTH(TODAY{),2)
